Welcome

We come to therapy for many different reasons, and often, simply reaching out for support is one of the most challenging steps. I want to welcome you to my practice and acknowledge the courage it takes to take that first step.

As a licensed clinical psychologist based in New York City, I specialize in the understanding and treatment of perfectionism (including self-exploitation, procrastination, and burnout), behavioral addictions (such as substance use and internet/gaming), ADHD, difficulties related to acculturation, and struggles with identity and belonging. I see therapy as a meaningful opportunity to examine the habits of your mind and to ask whether you are truly in step with who you are today.

I received my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Rutgers University, where I focused on multicultural approaches to therapy as well as contemporary psychoanalytic and Gestalt therapies. Over the course of my career, I’ve worked in a variety of settings—including public hospitals, community mental health centers, nursing homes, rehabilitation programs, and college counseling centers—which continue to inform my integrative and grounded approach to care.
